У День пам’яті захисників по всій країні приспускають Державні Прапори. Символікою цього дня є квітка соняшника. Україна вшановує загиблих воїнів загальнонаціональною хвилиною мовчання. Ми повинні пам'ятати захисників України, адже саме вони зберегли нам життя.
