5 квітня: Перша українська конституція, 1710 рік

Перша українська конституція (Конституція Пилипа Орлика) була прийнята 5 квітня 1710 р. і саме тоді був започаткований процес створення Конституції в Україні. Конституція вирівнювала права козаків та зменшувала певні привілеї гетьмана. Документ передбачав політичну незалежність України.
